Keeping Dogs Happy & Healthy with leashed, pack-style hiking adventures at Colorado’s best Dog-friendly trails and at Hike Club’s private ranch.

THE PASSION BEHIND HIKE CLUB

At Hike Club, we’re firm believers that happy and healthy dogs need more than a quick walk around the block. They need real adventure, fresh air, exercise, stimulation, and the chance to build bonds with a compatible pack. That is why we created a premium, door-to-door dog hiking service designed for South Denver pet parents seeking exceptional care and meaningful outdoor experiences for their four-legged fur babies. We understand the importance of peace of mind when putting the care of your dog in someone else’s hands. The love for dogs is like no other; we get it, we chose to do this as a profession! All of our hikers and staff are first aid trained and K-9 CPR Certified.

Trust in Our Care

Our licensed and insured dog care experts thoughtfully match each dog with a small pack of 3–4 dogs of similar temperament, creating a safe and more enjoyable group dynamic.
Every outing is designed with your dog’s wellbeing as the top priority, balancing adventure, exercise, comfort, and close supervision. Each dog is picked up from your home in our newly customized Hike Club Dog Bus, featuring safety-certified, climate-controlled, private first-class cabins so every pup rides in comfort and style. Pet parents enjoy peace of mind through regular updates, photos, and Hike Tale recaps, while their dogs enjoy an experience that leaves them fulfilled, socialized, and safe back home, tired in all the good ways.

OUR APPROACH

At Hike Club, we believe dogs are not just pets — they are family. Every dog in our care is treated with the same attention, affection, and respect we give our own.

Our mission is to provide premium door-to-door dog adventures that combine exercise, enrichment, safety, and joy. From pickup to trail time to post-hike updates, every detail is designed to give dogs an unforgettable outdoor experience while giving pet parents complete peace of mind.

MEET OUR TEAM

JAMES GOLL

James has been working with dogs professionally since the age of 14. Beginning at the Animal Clinic of Casselberry outside Orlando, James started as kennel assistant and later became a kennel manager overseeing all weekends and holidays. James’ pursuit into veterinary studies at the University of Florida ultimately led to his path into business, public relations, and marketing.

His connection to dogs never faded. While working on campaigns including Pets.com, James fostered dogs in his studio apartment and helped place them in loving homes. He continued those rescue efforts in Miami, where he and new Dog-Partner Courtney fostered numerous dogs together, including dogs displaced from the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian, and their ‘first child,’ Parker whom they adopted from the Miami shelter and loved unconditionally for 12 amazing years.

After relocating to Colorado in 2023 for its outdoor lifestyle, James and Courtney quickly recognized a real need: many devoted dog parents wanted their dogs to experience the same enriching hikes and outdoor adventures they loved, but did not always have the time or ability to provide consistently.

COURTNEY GOLL

While Courtney also continues her work helping high school students pursue their academic dreams through The Student Union, James recognized the opportunity to leave the corporate world and continue his lifelong passion: helping dogs live their best lives while giving pet parents peace of mind that their four-legged family members are cared for, exercised, and enriched.

 That vision became Hike Club

Drawing on the discipline, pace, and service standards shaped by his years in New York City and Miami, James brings meticulous attention to detail and a premium customer-service mindset to Colorado pet parents through Hike Club’s door-to-door dog adventure experience.

APRIL DONELSON

April helps make every Hike Club adventure feel personal, thoughtful, and memorable. An experienced dog handler with a natural gift for celebrating dogs, April ensures that no dog client’s birthday goes unnoticed.

She also oversees the special touches pet parents love most, including Trail Tales updates and photo albums after each pup’s adventure.

ANNE BARRY

As a founding member of the Colorado team, Anne brings strong local knowledge of hidden-gem hiking spots and a calm, confident presence on the trail.

She is especially skilled with larger dogs, including dogs over 100 pounds, and brings steady handling ability, trail awareness, and dependable leadership to every adventure.

GRACIE GOLL

While only 4-years-old, Grace’s acute understanding that dogs bring happiness is undeniable.

Though Gracie is studying hard to be a rockstar musician, her oversight into dog happiness is invaluable to fulfilling Hike Club’s mission.
