Your Dog's Well-Being is Our
#1 Priority

We go above and beyond when is comes to your dog's safety:

A trained, experienced, and licensed dog handler will be responsible for your dogs care from the moment we pick them up to drop off. All of our Hiker Handlers are CPR and Wilderness Dog first aid trained and certified. Our handlers also required to pass an in-house certification with 100% understanding of our proprietary curriculum developed by our on-staff certified trainer, Carie Grant.

Additionally, we welcome any of our pet parent clients to hop in the bus at anytime and check out the style and class your dog enjoys. We also welcome clients at our HQ operations in Columbine Valley where we adhere to strict cleanliness, sanitization, fresh liens, food handling and prevention of illness spread. Despite us not housing animals there, our offices are certified by the Colorado Department of Agriculture, and we receive regular ongoing inspections, available by request to us or CO DOA.

We’d be wiling to bet that our Hike Club Dog Activity Busses are safer than your own passenger car. Many dog lovers have seen the viral K9 Convoy repurposed school busses — but, NO, that is not what we do. Though it’s cute as can be seeing dogs in bus seats – that is simply not safe, nor practical, nor is it legal.

Apparently it works for the K9 Convoy in rural Wisconsin, but Denver? Not so much! Your dog will ride within one of our oversized individual member’s quarters Designed by Lucky Duck sporting supplies. 5-Star Safety certified by the Center for Pet Safety, the USA Lucky Duck enclosures are engineered to the highest standards, premium materials, and are widely known as the best transport money can buy.

While there’s not portal to stare at your fur baby all day, our busses are equipped with the Wolf Box 4k TriProCam systems that monitor, record, and alert to to any irregularities from inside the bus, and outside – whether we’re coming of going.

Our busses are Ford Transit 350 4-wheel drive vehicles with extended roof and length, to keep our furry rays of sunshine safe, climate controlled, safe, and secure – regardless of the weather.

Additionally – following the afternoon of soaking up the trails, you’ll receive your day’s edition of Trail Tales, an intimate recap of the day’s adventure, accolades, photos and the latest on who’s spilling the tea! ☕️

Our busses also feature StarLink satellite connectivity, so we’ll never be out of reach should a situation arise.

While we can’t offer that, you can rest easy knowing we understand how first days can be. But, somehow everyone of us took that leap off the curb from mom’s hand to hop on the bus, and (most) of us turned out okay anyway 😉

We find that even dogs not accustomed to being in a crate like environment quickly warm up as we make it very evident that this  pawty bus headed for delicious smells and adventures – not the type of bus they see on Law & Order.

Treat-filled toys, 4-inch thick memory foam pads covered in cozy crib sheets soft enough for baby’s bum,  and Taylor Swift on the radio all help clear up any chance of confusing today with a time out!

Stick by your phone for the post-pathtrackin Trails Tails to come by text to hear about your special ones exhilarating adventure.

We also use super-premium martingale leashes. Dogs remn a DVM or trainer that finds those devices the best option for your dog, we ensure dogs in our care are treated to nothing but the best to keep them same and in colmplimentary step with his hiking pals.

Though we’re happy to use the harness & leash your dog is used to if you prefer, we exclusively use Though we’re happy to use the harness & leash your dog is used to if you prefer, we exclusively use Freedom No Pull Harneses.  Made in the USA, these harnesses prevent pulling, and ensure safety and comfort with multiple connection points, and even Swiss velvet for the underbody straps.

We also use super-premium martingale leashes. Dogs remained leashed through out their excursion anytime they are out of their private quarters.

Absolutely not. All of your pet’s records, conditions, adversions, and potential areas for heightened attention are added to your dog’s onboard profile. At the moment your dog boards the bus, their collar will be marked with a color coded attention band to ensure it’s evident there are conditions requiring enhanced attention.  And they will never miss out! In addition to our post-hike frozen fruit treats in the summer, and a warm bowl of soup in the winter, anyone who has potential allergies will receive an approved substitute in the event of a Birthday, Holiday, if we saw a squirrel that day, or if it happens to be Tuesday. (we like Pawtys!)
