JAMES GOLL
Founder / Operator
James has been working with dogs professionally since the age of 14. Beginning at the Animal Clinic of Casselberry outside Orlando, James started as kennel assistant and later became a kennel manager overseeing all weekends and holidays. James’ pursuit into veterinary studies at the University of Florida ultimately led to his path into business, public relations, and marketing.
His connection to dogs never faded. While working on campaigns including Pets.com, James fostered dogs in his studio apartment and helped place them in loving homes. He continued those rescue efforts in Miami, where he and new Dog-Partner Courtney fostered numerous dogs together, including dogs displaced from the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian, and their 12-year relationship with Parker.
After relocating to Colorado in 2023 for its outdoor lifestyle, James and Courtney quickly recognized a real need: many devoted dog parents wanted their dogs to experience the same enriching hikes and outdoor adventures they loved, but did not always have the time or ability to provide consistently.
COURTNEY GOLL
Wrangler of Wranglers
While Courtney also continues her work helping high school students pursue their academic dreams through The Student Union, James recognized the opportunity to leave the corporate world and continue his lifelong passion: helping dogs live their best lives while giving pet parents peace of mind that their four-legged family members are cared for, exercised, and enriched.
That vision became Hike Club.
Drawing on the discipline, pace, and service standards shaped by his years in New York City and Miami, James brings meticulous attention to detail and a premium customer-service mindset to Colorado pet parents through Hike Club’s door-to-door dog adventure experience.
